Hamish Keith: Life For Art’s Sake

September 17, 2008 at 12:04 am (13 September 2008)

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.

A lot of people are so polished when they’re being interviewed that it sounds so rehearsed, like they’ve said it so many times they’re just spitting out answers and not really being in the moment and thinking about the answer right there …

But he wasn’t like that. He sounded like he was enjoying the interview + thinking about he answers on the spot. Which makes it engaging and enjoyable to listen to.

He was so on the money about the shy comment. We all have shy moments … which is good. I think there’s something seriously wrong with people who never have moments of doubting themselves and feel unsure about themselves or what they’re doing.

Arthur Meek: Buckwhips And The PM

September 16, 2008 at 11:23 pm (13 September 2008)

I thought Kim lost it a bit at the start when she started talking about the equipment … but it came back on track.

Never heard of Arthur Meek before. Nice voice. He sounds just like one of the FOTC guys. He sounded relaxed and geekily hot. Mmm.

Play sounded interesting too. Although, yeah, I would be put off by the fact that there was only one person in it. But I’d probably go just to see him after listening to this.

Update: Just searched for him on YouTube and found him in this. Damn, he is pretty hot.
